Bhensine
Nilavadhanananda has become well known around the art circle
of Thailand in the past 7-8 years through 4 of her individual
exhibitions and several others jointly displayed with her follow artist friends. Thirty years ago, after becoming well grounded in her art studies and practice in 'Mailand, Bhensine went to Paris, the hub of the world's first class masterpieces. There her strong artistic passion became enriched and fulfilled. The result is this exhibition of her works to share with her art admirers. Most of her paintings depict landscapes in France and other neighboring countries. It is obvious that Bhensine does not mean to depict reality but to concentrate more on the haitnonic relationship of things presented in the frame. The highlight of her works lies in the use of colors that reflect the mastering of color technique. One can feel the artist's freedom in applying color to respond to her own imagination and feelings, resulting from both external and internal perception. The artist has stepped outside the bounds of theory and odier means of control. Thus viewers can reach her only with the heart and aesthetic sensibility while transcending reality to the celestial realm of appreciation. It is hoped that this exhibition of Bhensine Nilavadhananinda's paintings will inspire some creators of art work who have unconsciously drifted along with the social current to consider the ideas and desire of lifestyle that they really wish to obtain.
