STRANGER IN OUR OWN LAND :
My recent practice continues to establish the correlation between the idea of nostalgia and the passage of time.
This involves a temporary flash of happiness or melancholy; it is a moment which contains the possibility of an alternative reality.
A reproduced feeling of sadness mixed with faint pleasure and affection signifying the nostalgic moment.
Nostalgic illusion as a self cocoon is served as a barricade to outsider but it become a barrier to Myself.
I have been working on ceramic which contains fragile quality. During a process, glazes and textures are derived from passage of time which gives narrative results. |
