The Asean
Art Awards Thailand VIII will be held to select five creative
artworks to represent Thailand in the Asean Art Awards competition
to be held in Bali, Indonesia, early next year. Artists from several countries including Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam will take part in the competition. National winners will receive 125,000 baht, while the overall winner and the five second runner-ups will receive $15,000 (675,000 baht) and $5,000 (225,000 baht), respectively.
