The Oriental Bangkok and Bangkok Post Student Weekly are organising a painting competition as part of the hotel's ongoing 125th anniversary celebrations. Thai students nationwide are invited to participate and compete for educational scholarships totalling 66,000 baht.

The competition is divided into three categories and there will be three prizes per category, which are: "Thai Children's Games" for elementary students,
"Thai Tradition and Culture" for secondary students, and
"Thailand's World Heritage" for higher secondary students. The painting's dimensions should be 13 by 20 inches (32 by 50cm), and each painting should be appropriately titled. Any media can be used. On the back of the painting should be the student's name, address, telephone number, name of school, class and age. Entries must be certified by student's teacher.
Entries should be sent to Bangkok Post Student Weekly, 8th floor, Bangkok Post Building,136 Na Ranong Road, Khlong Toey, Bangkok 10110.

Entries will be accepted until August 10.
