Epson invites all to join photo contest “Epson Color Imaging Contest 2005” to win trip to Japan, prizes worth over 6 million baht. Epson (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is hosting Epson Color Imaging Contest 2005 – photo contest supported by Seiko Epson Corporation, Japan and its group companies to encourage a new level of artistic creation through imaginative photographic execution. This is the third year for Epson to have hosted such a contest to allow professionals, students and interested public to participate. Entries are divided into 3 categories:- Color Imaging Award – creation through use of digital processing for both photograph and graphic. Family Snap Award – depiction of colorful family life. Nature & human Life Photo Award – the way of nature and way of life. This year Epson is looking forward to offering the same opportunity to Thai photographers to demonstrate their ability in this international contest, which should also help develop Thailand’s current photographic circle. Epson Color Imaging Contest 2005 is another program from Epson created to fulfill its commitment in offering something ‘Exceeding Your Vision’, where consumers are free to create new things beyond the boundary of imagination or something conventional using Epson’s latest digital technology. Entries will be accepted until August 26, 2005. Each entry will be sent to Japan for chance to win over 6 million baht worth of prizes. Results will be announced via Epson website late December 2005. Epson is confident the annual contest will help spark interest on the part of Thai photographers and photographic enthusiasts in using modern printing technology to create innovative photographic projections bring more recognition to the country.
