The Commemorative Stamp Collection Featuring
"Pre-emiment Protector of Arts and Crafts"
Six portraits of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit by Chakrabhand Posayakrit, National Artist in Visual Arts (Painting) in 2000, have been designed into a set of six commemorative stamps. This is the 999th collection of Thai stamps.
Her Majesty's major contributions to arts and crafts are recognised in six areas, namely Khon, Gold Nielloware, Yan Lipao, Pha Praewa, Hill Tribe Textiles and The Eight Styles (Thai National Dress of the Royal Tradition).
