PROJECT NO2. THE LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF LIVING (1997)
NO. 4: THE LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF LIVING NO. 1- 6, 1997, ETCHING, SILK-SCREEN,78.5 X 228 CM.
Observing human behavior, I find that the social environment consists of the order, traditions, culture and rules that we practice together in society. These provide major frameworks within which we live. These constraints push individuals to cooperate and submit. They are the cause of the different Iimitations and conditions of our lives.
No one can thrive in an isolated state of separation from the affairs of society. Therefore, my creative presentation in the printworks reflects the movement of lives full of various social rules and conditions, lives of acceptance and submission. Such lives are happy and unhappy at the same time. So I have created cage-like architectural structures which also serve as homes and residences.
