"Look into a rock. Its real nature is strength and hardness, but it is lifeless. ...So if you don't have any guts, you will find it extremely difficult to sculpt rocks into shapes. However, in my stone sculpture, there is "soul", "life" and "feelings". It is alive and tries to reveal itself. You can touch and feel it with your own eyes and hands, and then you will realize how beautiful the stone sculpture is."
