Surapon Gallery was commercially established in 1997 to present quality art by Thai artists to the public. The gallery started out by showing realistic paintings including those of Surasit Saokong, and Rearngsak Boonyavanishkul, whose works are now much sought after. Two years later the gallery introduced abstract paintings by Somyot Hananantasuk, Ithipol Thangchalok, Decha Warashoon, Somboon Hormtientong and expressionist portraiture paintings by Chatchai Puipia, and Sakwut Wisesmanee, as well as ceramic pieces by Somluk Pantiboon.

As the gallery continues its twelfth year of operation into 2009, we see ourselves still adhere to the same core principle of giving good quality art to our existing and potential clients as well as the general public. We are proud to be a functional and practical part of the growing and stimulating contemporary art scene in Thailand.
