Give back my land before I die: Granny Tuerng Buabuddh, aged 90, from Banpotpisai, has come to ask Prime Minister Taksin to help get back 30 rai CHECK of her land, which was foreclosed by a co-op 30 years ago during the Kukrit Government. She has fought continuously in all that time to get it back. She says, "My children and grandchildren have given up. They are afraid. But I'm not afraid. This land came down to me from my ancestors. This sticks in my heart. I always paid the interests, but they took it just like that."
