Sacrificing his life for the disabled: Mr. Tawee Konharn and Mr. Vichai
Pansri (in back), two blind lottery vendors, threaten to blow themselves
up if the government goes ahead with plans to take the national lottery
on line. Each man has tied a gallon of gasoline to himself, their trouser
pockets are crammed with ten ping-pong balls filled with explosives, and
around their necks are hung signs reading "To sacrifice my life to
fight on-line lottery" and "Society falls apart, on-line has come".
Later they are overcome by police officers and arrested. |
