The Underlying Concept Behind : "Sa-Tep by Sa-Ti - A Step of Mindfulness"
The abstract “thing”. A Thing light and fluffy. The white “Noon” (“the fiber of a kapok tree”), if in a formed “state” of compression isn’t different to a “thing” of substance and weight.
This other “thing” when compared to “another thing” while impinging on our empty, clear and open state of mind will cause our state of mind to become heavy.
Because “state of mind” is a light thing, fast, rolling and wavering by nature. Therefore, when in the quicksand of desire, anger and confusion, shouldn’t it be not unlike the state of a “thing” that is heavy yet light to the “state of mind” simultaneously? And becoming attached and entangled in a spidery, mazy state of mind, it’s a difficult to break free of this heavy “thing” with a light state towards the state of mind.
At a store at some moment…when the left foot and leg become weary…at the same moment the inner state always also has a heavy thing creating a heavy state that makes it difficult to put one foot forward.
The “state” as described may be compared to an “obstacle” or fated “karma”, but in hearing the echoes of hymns from ages past, these bodiless signals warn us again and again to always be mindful.
“Mindfulness” can be express as “energy-willpower”. If the body is prepared, the spirit ready and supple, with a steady consciousness and state of mind, and consciously knowing oneself, the act of stepping forward with a mindfulness that is the equal of the “spirit” will be free, awake, open and at peace, or “a state of peacefulness.” And the “thing” that was in a heavy state will return to lightness, emptiness and comfort once again. It’s the “power”, which is like the state of mind in a state of “mindfulness”, as it is in a state of concentration by following in the footsteps of “the path to dharma”…Lastly, “mindfulness” is like being melded into one with the state of mind and “the state of mind” will be a state of freedom, wakefulness, openness, and peacefulness…according to the instructions of the dharma.
