“2 years in Berlin, is long enough to make me feel like a stranger to the place where I came from but it’s too short to make me feel like a part of the society here. In the city where identity and differences have not disappeared, how do people deal with the ‘otherness’ of each other?”

“Pieces from Berlin”, the newest art exhibition by Bussaraporn Thongchai asks us to explore the stories, experiences and encounters of cultural diversity, ethnicity, migration, rights, as well as the ongoing conflicts and negotiation between morality and struggle for life.

“สองปีในเบอร์ลิน ยาวนานพอที่จะทำให้เรากลายเป็นคนอื่นของที่ที่เราจากมา แต่ก็สั้นเกินไปที่จะทำให้เรากลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสังคมใหม่ที่นี่ ในเมืองที่ตัวตนและความแตกต่างไม่ถูกทำให้กลืนหาย ผู้คนเผชิญหน้าและจัดการกับความเป็นอื่นของกันและกันอย่างไร?”

“ที่ระลึกจากเบอร์ลิน” นิทรรศการศิลปะชุดล่าสุดของบุษราพร ทองชัย ว่าด้วยเรื่องเล่า ประสบการณ์ และการเผชิญหน้ากับความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม ชาติพันธุ์ การอพยพย้ายถิ่นฐาน สิทธิ การต่อสู้ต่อรองระหว่างข้อถกเถียงทางศีลธรรมกับการดิ้นรนเอาตัวรอดของผู้คน
