Open Space Bangkok Art And Culture Centre
The BACC Wall Painting for BEF 2018 project is a collaboration project between Bangkok Art and Culture Centre Foundation, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Siam Piwat and the Siam Synergy. The project aims at promoting Bangkok as the Hub of digital contents and creativities as well as to celebrate the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for being a co – host of Bangkok Entertainment Fest 2018 (BEF2018). The event will be held from April – June 2018.
“Yak” (Giant) by Panop Koonwat
Concept : This art piece presents the idea of “Playful” through the image of Thai giant in contemporary style. The head of the giant opens up to show the Bangkok City as the universe of infinite creativity.

โครงการ BACC Wall Painting for BEF 2018 เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างมูลนิธิหอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร (มูลนิธิหอศิลปกรุงเทพฯ) สำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (สสปน.) บริษัท สยามพิวรรธน์ จำกัด และกลุ่มพลังสยาม โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์ของกรุงเทพมหานครในฐานะเมืองแห่งศิลปะและความคิดสร้างสรรค์และเพื่อร่วมฉลองในฐานะที่กรุงเทพมหานครเป็นเมืองเจ้าภาพร่วมจัดเทศกาล Bangkok Entertainment Fest 2018
ผลงานชุด “ยักษ์” ออกแบบโดย ภาณพ คุณวัฒน์
แนวคิด : นำเสนอแนวคิด Playful Creativity ผ่านรูปของยักษ์ไทยที่ผสมผสานความร่วมสมัย ส่วนหัวของยักษ์ที่เปิดออก แสดงถึงจักรวาลความคิดสร้างสรรค์ที่ไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด โดยมีต้นกำเนิดจากเมืองแห่งอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ “กรุงเทพมหานคร”
