I appreciate the authenticity of Thai ; I enjoy listening to Thai classical music, I like watching Khon (masked drama) and Lakhon (dance drama). I enjoy reading Thai classical literature.

He was bom in 1943 in Bangkok. Began art education at the Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, graduating with BFA (Painting) in 1968. Was formerly employed as art lecturer at the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakom University. Received Honorary Doctoral Degree in Arts from Chulalongkorn University in 1989, and Honorary Doctoral Degree in Applied Arts, from Silpakom University in 1995. At present is an independent artist.

Chakrabhand began with painting realistic portraits of people he associated with to reflect their characters. In later works he added ideal touches according to his imagination. He has recently turned his interest to creating marionettes and paint scenes from Thai literature.
