Breast Sand Jedis, 2005
In collaboration with GRESOL and the children of La Bisbal d’Emporda. Castle,Girona, Spain
Each child was asked to make an “offering vessel” from clay, which was later fired and glazed in white.
Then each placed the vessel in the castle with a scented item in it. In other rooms we made sand breast jedis and temples and forts.
A large number of the participants are children of Muslim immigrants from North Africa.
